William E. McClain began his career in the financial services sector in 1978 as an independent life insurance agent. Over the course of his career Will’s accomplishments include national recognition as a top-producing individual life insurance producer, principal owner of a life insurance brokerage firm, principal owner of a fee-only financial planning an asset management firm, principal owner of a fee-based life insurance consulting firm, Qualified Appraiser for life insurance policy donations, speaker to professional groups on insurance industry-related subjects, and the author of the Technical Evaluation of Life Insurance Illustrations section of the Financial Planner’s Library, published by Harcourt Brace.
Some of Will’s interests include flying sailplanes, riding motorcycles and traveling.

Will has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations from the American College, which is located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. The American College specializes in providing graduate and post graduate education to financial service professionals, and is one of the most highly regarded institutions of its kind in the nation.
